Add-on Overview: Role-based User Security

This module opens the creation of user roles, each with a unique set of capabilities and access. You will assign each employee a role that defines which tasks and data they will have access to. Using roles with limited permissions serves to both simplify the use of eGrow Connect for your employees and protect your data from unnecessary user error. Each role can be tailored and adjusted to meet the needs of that employee or group of employees.

What does it do?

  • Create customized user roles based on employee/employee group responsibilities
  • Adjust permissions and access for each role based on their use of eGrow Connect

Who needs it?

  • Nurseries with employees who fulfill certain tasks within the nursery management system.
  • Nurseries with many users who want to avoid user errors.

What changes will I see?

  • A Roles setup page will appear in system setup logo System Setup where you can setup or adjust role permissions at any time.
